Saraburi 

Introduction

Saraburi is on the east side of theChao Phraya Rivervalley. The eastern part of the province is covered by high plains and plateaus, while the western part is mostly low flat plains.[citation needed]Saraburi province has 848km2(327sqmi) of forest or 24.2 percent of provincial area.[1]The town, as a gateway to the northeastern region, is 108km fromBangkok. It occupies an area of 3,577 square kilometres.

Feature

Sunflowers usually bloom during November to December. It is noticeable for those passion by this area.

History

Sunflower Field Festival is the name of the festival in organizing sunflower viewing in the central region of Thailand which is held during October - April of every year, with areas planted in Phatthana Nikhom District, some parts of Mueang Lopburi District including the surrounding area of Pa Sak Cholasit Dam and contiguous areas in Saraburi Province as well
